When it comes to dressing patriotically, I find it extremely easy to pull together blue and white (or off-white in this case, but cut me some slack). Red is typically the missing color in my wardrobe. It ‘s simply not a color that I am drawn to, so when I was trying to pull together this outfit I was almost at a loss. That’s when it came to me that red doesn’t need to be a part of my clothing, but nails and lips could easily fill that missing gap for me. I had planned on wearing a nice pair of navy pants with this top, but then I realized that we would be attending a picnic after church this past Sunday. My plans changed and I grabbed some denim instead. It changed the look, but was still fun (and more comfortable) and held my red, white and blue look together without looking forced.

You should wear more red lipsticks, because you looks stunning in red!! Its as if the red lipsticks were made for you , no kidding!! Love this simple, casual and yet chic outfit.
Thank you! It’s certainly out of my comfort zone!
Love the subtle red, white and blue! Sometimes if you pair red, white and blue together it just is so…bold. As in, “hey look at me, I’m going to a parade!” This is just right.
My thoughts exactly Rebecca!
This is such a classy and elegant look, I love it! The red lips and nails are agave for me, I think they always look festive and “right.” Thanks for linking up with us;)
