JCrew is easily one of my favorite stores. It wasn’t until I sat down to work this post together that I realized most of my outfit (top, jeans, shoes) are all from JCrew. I suppose that only reinforces the fact that’s it’s ranked toward the top of my list. I grabbed these wedges on sale last year and I don’t turn to them often enough because I keep them tucked safely away in their box in order to keep them clean. Not the best tactic, I realize. Talking wedges for a minute though, aren’t they the best? You get the extra height without sacrificing any comfort. Win/win in my book! Finally, this top. I recently got it during JCrew’s super sale (my reference to a sale on sale). I loved the feminine take on a classic men’s shirt. I can also see pairing it with a blazer to change the look up a bit and carry it into fall.

Love these wedges just too
High a wedge-so hard to find a wedge with a 2 inch wedge or less! :)
#tallpeopleproblems ;)
Hi! I am new to your site. It is lovely. I like the distressed jeans and the tank is so cute with the thin stripes. I too like the wedges, I have to be picky about shoes as I have an illness that is muscular in nature, so no high heels. The jewerly dresses is up and is the perfect bit of sprarkle.

Thanks for the kind words Jess!
I’m 4’10”, and wedges are my favorite way to add a few inches! You’re right, they are so comfortable!
Quickest way to gain 3-4 inches ;)
A simple and effortless look yet classic and super stylish. I like how you’ve doubled up your necklaces, great idea!
Thanks so much Lorna Mai!
Effortlessly chic! ;)
God bless,

Thank you Claire!
Catching up on blogs tonight and have fallen COMPLETELY in love with those wedges! Marisa, you are encouraging another shoe purchase here. :)
Positive encouragement ;)
Love those shoes! I too am a fan of the wedge, but sometimes like a mid-height option. I’ve found two wedge/wedge-like lower heel alternatives that may be of interest…
Eric Michaels (just bought these on an end of summer sale),
