Anyone beach bound soon? Although we are not heading to the shore until August, I can’t help but browse all of the fun beachwear that’s out there. Below you’ll find two dozen items which can be mixed and matched to create some beautiful and practical beach ensembles.
Post kids, I’ve become a fan of one piece swimsuits. I feel more comfortable and I need not worry about anything falling out when I’m running around the beach filling up sand buckets, re-applying sun lotion and hydrating the little ones. Thanks to some great designers, I also find many one pieces to be more stylish than most bikini’s. Maybe that’s just me, what do you think?
It’s always nice to have a cute cover-up because you can end up wearing them just as much as you do your swimsuit. I don’t own a pareo, but thanks to Serena and Lily I’m dying to get my hands on one.
There are so many cute, practical totes out there right now, you almost can’t go wrong. Although not the most stylish, we have had a Lands End tote for years. It holds a ton, and I can’t say enough about the quality. However, I’m loving the options from Target, and with their prices it’s hard to say no, for me at least.
And finally the shoes. Like most, I’m in flip flops 95% of the time at the beach. Havaianas are usually my go-to because I know they hold up well, they’re cute and comfortable. This pair by Melissa Shoes just may end up in my closet though. I love the flower! And of course TOMS. I think this pink canvas pair would be perfect for a beach trip as well as running around all summer long.
Hope this was useful for you beach babes!
